So who-all has made the jump (or at least established a backup plan) on greatestjournal.com? What're your usernames? I'd like to build up my flist over there...

I'm jim_p over there as well as here...

if I leave here it'll be for Wordpress on my own site. In the end, it's a social network site, and 90% of everyone I meet at cons has an LJ. Not so much the others.

GJ will probably only be a 'backup' for me until I get my Word Press blog going. Then I'll mirror stuff over there. GJ is a little too clunky and slow for my needs.

Unless I can convince nearly 400 people to also head over there, I'm not planning on going anywhere.

Switching from a paid account to a free account has crossed my mind, though.

They made a mistake. Their customers complained. They fixed their mistake and outlined how they'd try to prevent a similar occurance in the future.

I don't see any reason to punish them for what was actually an example of good customer service, if after the fact. Seeing how they respond to customer criticism is actually a good thing in my book.

Oh, I actually give LJ great credit for admitting their mistake and doing what they could to make it right. Would that our current political leaders did the same...

I'm not bailing on LJ at all so much as diversifying my portfolio...
