jim_pShort form: Help needed emptying out storage units in Worcester. Sunday, December 3, starting at NOON. Volunteers with large-ish vehicles especially desired!
Longer form:
We have two storage units full of Stuff in Worcester, and we'd like to empty out at least one of them and make a serious dent in the other. So we need help. Here's the kicker: we don't need a whole lot of the Stuff that's in those units, so we're willing to either give things away or sell them for cheap, depending on the item.
We'll be meeting at noon at the StorageMax on McKeon Road in Worcester, emptying out the unit there, then proceeding to Auburn Self Storage to deal with the other unit, then back to Natick to offload what we brought back.
Among the items available are:
There's lots more, but that's what comes to mind at the moment.
Bribes offered include first dibs on the Stuff, dinner when we're done, eternal gratitude, backrubs... and other bribes can be negotiated as well.

- Older-style dresser
- Similarly-styled dining-room sideboard
- Pump Jacks
- Computer Carcasses
- Garden-tractor carcass (no mower, engine needs work, but once fixed
up can be used to tow a trailer for hauling) - Extendable buffet table (gotta see it to believe it)
- Metal drawer units & file drawers
- Various & sundry light fixtures (from an electrical contractor's auction)
There's lots more, but that's what comes to mind at the moment.

Take Exit 11 off of 290 (College Square). Bear left at the end of the ramp; this puts you on Southbridge Street. Shortly you will come to a traffic light with a church on your left and a shopping plaza on the right. Take a right at this light, then take your very next right onto McKeon Road (landmark: Pizzeria[sic] Delight). StorageMax is just ahead on your left.
