Besides, it would be so much easier to destroy America by making the skilled of any nation feel unwelcome, the poor of any nation unnoticed, and make this all seem like a virtue.

(Oh, and that reminds me of 'my ancestors came here and learned to speak English'--because they weren't planning on going back there. These days, the poor downtrodden lands are where you might need to do business, and not everyone speaks English)
