Dinner with friends

Lovely dinner to celebrate koshmom's birthday. It's always great to see her :) It was also really great to meet up with quietann, deguspice and Hobbit (does he have a LJ? It's always funny knowing someone in one context and not being able to track them down in LJ...).

Food was to die for :) This was a great Italian place with such a huge menu you just have to keep coming back. I'm going to try and reverse-engineer their artichoke cream soup...

It's good to get out once in a while :)

Aye, agreed 100%. yum yum yum. The service was great too, I told the waitress that today was a celebration for me, and I was off my diet and wanted to make sure I ordered something with a good hearty fat-filled sauce. She pointed me in the right direction (yummy!) and then she said "soup or salad?....you want the cream of artichoke soup, you don't want anything as healthy as a salad" and just checked to ensure that I agreed. Good waitress. :)
