More rabbit adventures
Dec. 19th, 2004 04:02 amWell, Mickey the bunny is doing a bit better now, though I'm not sure why. Maybe it was all the attention he got this week; I was away for three days and had my fantastic pet-sitter come in twice a day during that time. Maybe it was the fact that I had her feeding him glucosamine-chondroitin-laced baby food twice a day rather than the usual once a day. Maybe it was the fact that when I brought him into the vet the doctor flexed all his joints (something I would *never* trust myself to do!).
In any case, he's now able to move around a bit more and sit up, and he can once again get around his cage with some effort. I've still got an appointment with the chiropractor to see if that might help his spine, but at this point I'm wondering if he needs a little bunny physical therapist? If someone who knew how to flex his joints were to do so once a week or so for a few weeks, it might help a lot...
Does anybody know how I could get in touch with Dr. Karen? Maybe she'd have a recommendation...
