I brought something outside to paint it today. During the day it was nice and clear, so I put on two primer coats. A few hours later I say "hmmm, primer's probably dry now, if the weather holds out overnight I can paint it and have the whole thing dry by morning."

So I surf over to weather.com, punch in my zipcode, and check the forecast. "Overnight: Clear, temps in the 60s, precip 0%". Great!

Go outside, paint paint paint, uh, is that a drop I feel? Shit! I manage to drag the thing under the porch roof so it doesn't get rained on, and finish painting it there.

I guess that "0%" wasn't quite zero, but the website only seems to report precipitation probabilities in multiples of 10%. Thanks, guys.

Perhaps it was Precipitation chance = 100% and their field was only two characters long?

If the weather page had said "<10% chance of precipitation", would you have painted?
