a bit of musing...
Mar. 9th, 2009 12:36 amThe other day I was thinking of Bernie Madoff, and that guy Stanford, and their Ponzi schemes.
What I want to know is, did they set out to create Ponzi schemes, or did it creep up on them along the way?
I figure that when one has a set of financial deliverables to meet and receivables are a little short, it can be rather tempting to rob Peter to pay Paul.
If the shortfalls continue, you may have to hit Judas up for some silver.
If that doesn't work, you may end up selling your soul...
Not saying that any of this is right, just trying to understand it...
