On June 28, 2008 my wife Tamara Gurevitz ("Tamu") was awarded a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Art Institute of Boston. To celebrate this achievement, Baldwin Hill Art & Framing is hosting a graduation reception for her on Thursday, July 10 from 5 to 8 PM, with a preview from noon to 5PM.
Tamu will have works on display from her graduation show along with a retrospective exhibition. In addition, there will be readings of five "micro-stories" by author Cat Darensbourg which were written expressly to accompany five of her works. The theme of this story collection is "The Elements: Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit".
