[1] Birthplace of Emeril Lagasse and Lizzie Borden. I don't know if anyone else of note ever came from that town...
[2] Lived in the same house in the same town for my entire childhood. I kept hoping and praying that my parents would move us to another town since I'd obviously blown any chances at socializing in this one...
[3] The MIT years
[4] First apartment. Lasted all of four months. Building got sold, met Tam, decided to move in together.
[5] Not the worst apt in the world, but close. "Heat included", but the thermostat setting seemed to have no connection to the actual heating units. Top floor, roof leaked to the tune of more than 50 gallons per day. Got out as soon as we could.
[6] overpriced apartment community. This time the floor leaked. Lasted six months there.
[7] The House of Many Tales. For nearly 19 years this place had offered the most stories for us to tell. Bought it as a fixer-upper, learned the craft of fixer-uppering over many years. Sold it even before we'd finished it; we'd simply Had Enough.
[8] Transitional apartment until I build The Big House in Phillipston. For the latter, I'll never again make the same mistake of living in the same space I'm building or renovating!
