"Boy, the folks who buy this house are really going to appreciate how I did this... I overspec'ed the wire to 12-guage and really secured it well!"
Today, when re-routing that same circuit:
"Who's the jackass who ran 12-guage on this circuit? That stuff's real stiff, hard to pull, hard to manipulate, and just a plain bitch to use when you don't have to! And why the HELL did he use so many damned cable staples?! I'm gonna have to pry out half a dozen when the code would have been happy with two..."
