Okay, so I broke down and I'm giving twitter a whirl... anyone wants to follow me I'm "_jim_p_" over there (jim_p was already taken, unfortunately... hmmm... I wonder if I could request the name from him?)

One question: How do you folks get your updates posted to LJ?

I use ping.fm to update twitter, my facebook status, and lj all at once. This doesn't do the "Loud Twitter" thing that sends the tweets out once per day in digest form (which msot folks find annoying). This just posts as if you made a small post yourself.

That worked. I think their search function has issues with underscores.

Thanks for suggesting ping.fm, I am trying it out now as Loudtwitter doesn't do quite what I would like it to do.
