Thanks!

Many thanks to bikergeek and bedfull_o_books for helping Tam get moved out of her Fort Point studio. We packed my van and Tam's car full of stuff, then went out to our storage in Worcester...

...where we were immediately faced with a problem. We've got two storage units in that warehouse, one on the basement and on the third floor. The basement one had more free space in it, so we were going to start putting stuff there. We get there and find a notice on the door saying, in effect, "We're using some Very Toxic Chemicals in the basement that are Bad For You so access to the basement is denied at this time. Oh, but the Very Toxic Chemicals won't harm your stuff, promise!"

Grrr... of course the notice didn't say how *long* the basement would be unavailable (the weekend? A week? A month?). We did manage to stuff everything we had into the third-floor unit... barely. Don't ask us to find any particular item on short notice, though...

Today I went back for more punishment packing of the studio. We worked for hours, mostly packing and wrapping artwork and glass for travel. Again, we packed the van full, and what's left in the studio will fit in Tam's car tomorrow.

Now I just need to call the storage place and find out WTF is up with our basement unit...
