Should be self-evident

So I get into work around noonish today (hey, they *knew* from the outset that I wasn't a morning person!) and find a note on my chair: "Team meeting at 10:00". Uh, thanks guys. How about at least a day's notice on these sorts of things? I check my email to see if I may have missed the meeting notice... didn't see anything obvious, at least not from the subject lines. Later on while actually reading my mail I find the meeting notice. Sent out at 0730 this morning with a subject line from a related discussion that I wasn't paying attention to (as opposed to, say, "Subj: Team meeting 10:00 TODAY").

They've got pizza-for-everybody in the break room today, so I wander on over and ask my boss to fill me in.

The subject of today's meeting? How we need to improve communications.

The company isn't normally this Dilbertian.... really it isn't! Honest!
